Remote Mountain cabin, lovingly maintained by the same family for multiple generations. The cabin is located at the base of the West Spanish Peak Mountain and backs up to San Isabel National Forest. The area is commonly known to locals as ''Little Kansas''. The perfect getaway or hideaway; the Cuchara River is a few feet from the front door so you can enjoy the sounds of rushing water. Hike the trail heads up the mountain or hunt the National Forest, or just escape to nature. While the cabin is fully functional, it is snowed in for the winter months. Even with a snowmobile or snow shoes, the cabin will be challenging to reach. The closest maintained access road is about 1/2 mile away. The massive fire place and newer wood burning stove offer lots of warmth. Star-link internet is currently available at the cabin (the antenna and receiver do not stay with the property). The cabin sleeps 4 people comfortably It is equipped with a nice bathroom with shower and full kitchen.
